I checked Web MD and I definitely have a disease.

My first blog post:

Everywhere you go, there you are.

— unknown

Whenever someone asks me what I’ve been up to or what I have coming up in my life my answer is usually something to do with travel. Then I’m met with looks of incredulity. How do you have the time to travel so much? How can you afford it? And my personal favorite: MUST BE NICE!

I struggled with sharing my travel blog because of this last common response. I mean, yeah, it is nice. I have a more flexible job than you do. I probably don’t manage my finances as well as you do. I am a hustler and I make it work. I justify and over justify my travels. I have an addictive personality and not a ton of will power. I will not eat beans or ice cream, though, and those are my personal triumphs in life when it comes to self control. Can’t win it all!

So as I fulfill my need to be in perpetual motion, I hope you enjoy living vicariously through my travels. I have a lot coming up, as you probably expect if you know me, and I want to share with you. Not to make you green with envy about it, but because I wish you were there with me, experiencing it with me. In this way, I want to take you with me. Will you come along?

A Little About Jenny

Born and raised in Oregon, Jenny has lived in Eugene since 1997 after attending the University of Oregon and graduating…some years later… with a degree in Geology. After years of commercial sales and beer magazine advertising sales, since 2014 she has been a full-time Realtor, focusing on residential properties in Lane County. She lives with her husband Chris, also in Real Estate, and daughter Bonnie in South East Eugene. She had two older children who are living their lives elsewhere but if the planets align everyone gets together a few times a year. She enjoys road cycling, running, backpacking and writing in addition to traveling. She is also working on creating a perfect macaron.
